Enlightenment Files and Libraries dump. These are snapshot releases of Enlightenment Applications and libraries. Feel free to download them. If you want to get 1 particular application working please read the guides below. Be ware - if you have older/other versions of these libraries installed on your system from .deb's or .rpm's or some other packaging system, and installed in different locations then you will very likely run into problems compiling. Remember to remove these other installs as they most likely are older unless you checked CVS out and compiled it in the last week or 2. Remember the default install for all autoconf based things is /usr/local. Remember to modify /etc/ld.so.conf to include /usr/local/lib (or whatever prefix you choose) and add /usr/local/bin to your PATH so the *-config scripts can be found when compiling.

Enlightenment 0.17 : If you want E17 running you will need to get and compile (in order): eet, evas, ecore, embryo, edje, enlightenment. You can run enlightenment as your window manager. You can also try it in Xnest. We assume you know how to change window managers already (by hand).

Core EFL : If you want to try the core EFL libraries for developing you will need (in order): eet, evas, ecore, embryo, edje.

Entrance : If you want to try the Entrance login manager you will need (in order): eet, evas, ecore, embryo, edje, epeg, imlib2, epsilon, esmart, edb, entrance.

EWL : If you want to try the EWL widget set, you will need (in order): eet, evas, ecore, embryo, edje, ewl.

We provide some other libraries for convenience and applications for interest sake as well.
